French Sole founder and designer, Jane Winkworth, was approached by the Royal Academy of Arts to design a unique collection of her famous ballet flats in celebration of their current Degas and the Ballet: Picturing Movement exhibition.
A fusion of fine art and fashion, the collection draws upon the colour palette used by Degas in his work and takes particular inspiration from the Little Dancer Aged Fourteen, with an image of the Little Dancer embossed into the mirrored soles and adorning each limited-edition shoe-box.
